Or we could say that, participating in sports enrich their lives with various different experiences. In order to investigate how people with acquired physical disabilities started to partake in sports and what was the process after injuring, four men with acquired physical disabilities were participate in this study. Data were collected by in-depth interviews to understand the correlation and for further analysis and discussion. The research findings showed that, after injuring, the process could be categorized into three phases: (1) lost self in times of adversity, (2) explore self in turning points and (3) find self in victory. The reasons for the participants became disabled people were because car accident or other accidents. After injuring, they all had a miserable time and locked themselves in their own world. This kind of adversity existed all the time, until someone, something or some hints suddenly appeared and made them realize that they need to move on and walk out the cage which they built by themselves. Also, no matter they already have special interests in sports or not, exercise can be one of the rehabilitation treatments. Furthermore, the research findings also pointed out that, the first time for people with acquired disabilities starting to exercise was because their friends, family members and other disabled people’s introductions. After countless trials and errors, they finally found sports which are suit for them and commit their lives on sports. Furthermore, they also found that life is a competition.
