Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 資訊管理學系碩士班 === 100 === With the increasing maturity of mobile computing, smartphones and tablets have become popular digital products in the consumer market, and “APPs” have also changed the ways people acquire information. Under the trend of digitalization, virtual information has gradually come into reality. Through application of augmented reality technology, people can also have enhanced interactions with the reality on their mobile devices. This study attempted to develop an APP for iOS-based mobile devices using Vuforia augmented reality SDK. The research methodology included literature review, prototype development, observation, and interview. This APP used markerless object recognition technique and was developed based on induced design principles of human-machine interface and interactions. The developed prototype was evaluated through observation and interview. The developed APPcalled AiR consisted of three works, including Finger Soccer, Chopper in Disguise, and Magic Poster. Finger Soccer and Chopper in Disguise are based on the virtual button interaction model, which enables users to interact with virtual objects on mobile devices using their fingers. Magic Poster integrates videos and prints to represent magic newspaper in the film Harry Potter. All these works were intended to apply augmented reality technologyin our daily life.
