Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士在職專班 === 103 === Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the type of leisure activities participated by visually disabled also, discussed the influence of leisure constraints and the effects. This research was based on Taitung city. Four adults visually disabled and their family were involved. Through formal/ informal interviews, data were analyzed according to the subjects of the content. The major findings are as follows. 1. The leisure activities participated by adult visually disabled mostly are “single-handed indoor activity” the next is “group indoor activity “, and “group outdoor activity”. The least are “single-handed outdoor activity”. 2. The personal inside leisure constraints of the adult visually disabled are visual challenged, lack of ability of Braille-reading, orientation and mobility disability and afraid of asking for help. The interpersonal leisure constraints of the adult visually disabled are improper attitude toward them, having misunderstanding with others and lack of companion. The structure constraints of the adult visually disabled are lack of facilities for the disabled, lack of Braille-reading publication, financial pressure and lack of volunteer. 3. The Influence of leisure constraints to the adults visually disabled mostly are conquer the challenge and continue participating the leisure activity next is do less leisure activity and hardly participate the leisure activity after they confront the constraints. keywords: visually disabled, leisure participation, leisure constraints
