The optimal UEP capabilities of convolutional encoders is can be obtained based on the algebraic properties, such as the basic, canonical, and minimal properties, etc. Our target is to derive more constructive and operational algorithms to search the best UEP convolutional code encoder. According to our searching algorithm, we can easily get the best UEP convolutional code encoder in every case of (n,k,m)convolutional code. Some search results using the proposed algorithm are provided in this thesis.
