For children especially, they acquire relevant knowledge and experience through the ability to observe and mimic their surroundings. This act of learning would then assist them in reflecting appropriate responses in different situations. Aristotle suggested that humans possess an instinctive ability to imitate and it is this ability that makes us different from animals. A common priniciple for the creation of classical art is through imitation. And the art of poem, music, dance or sculpture could be differentiateby their imitating models or subjects. However, to imitate is not to make an exact copy. It is through the process of imitation that one obtains basic knowledge and acquires high cognition of his models. This continuing procedure would also help accumulate sharp insights and unlimited imagination once a successful result is acheived. The principal curriculum of Music Fairy Workshop isdesigned based on modules and themes. Using storybooks in combination with music, dance and drama to inspire children’s potential and to promote their multiple intelligence. There is a great similarity between our subject of research and Aristotle’s point of view on imitation through drama. It would be an attempt for the author to build up a clear theoretical foundation byevaluating Music Fairy Workshop’s curriculum using Aristotle’s viewpoint.
