The idea of the established gender value could be different from performance elements. The study emphasizes on Wertenbaker’s gender concern that history should be reviewed and reconstructed. The first chapter describes play structure and research methods. With analysis Wertenbaker’s background and the drama actress Isabelle background, we could found out the drama is based on a historical facts character. In the second chapter, explores theory of drama, supported by historical facts to explain the dramatic structure, dialogue, scenes and the role. In the third chapter is about cultural, historical analysis and meta-history on theatrical cues. The play structure and background could be clear in chapters one and two. Wertenbaker’s intentions also could be understand with cultural and history reconstruction. In fourth chapter is about performance theory and the concept of feminism. Analysis the play in these theories rebuild old reaches’s conclusion, reclaim Wertenbaker is not only a feminism playwright but also a humanitarian. Concern women, man, or any gender and identity in oppress person. In fifth chapter emphasis on Wertenbaker’s reconstruction techniques is not only successful, but also imperative action in the contemporary theater. The conflict crisis between Islamic worlds is on the rise. Understanding the causes of the conflict and learn to respect the different of culture of the twenty-first century. With this play and Wertenbaker’s eye, through a woman's life from 200 years ago can set a model about respect to put us in thinking. What can theater or research do?
