The Comic has powerful penetration and can pass enormous information , it across the gap of ages and stratums and races. The change of comic positioning not only provide entertainment that it is one of most simple way to communicate, but also is the best foundation of cultural and creative industries. This research obtain idea from the legend of Nian monster. Chinese new year is the most important day for Chinese culture , nobody doesn’t go home with family . we can’t ignore the importance of Chinese new year , we still care the moment of alternation between new and old till now .Chinese new year that is a rite of mind build a way from old to new for us and change in steps through invisible power .
First at all , this research discusses picture characteristics of girl comic and applications of the frame and skills of performance between soul and reality . Faces and eyes are the important elements that change spaces when fall in memory , illusion or wake from dream , in the other hand , using extension or compression of frame to emphasize close-up and scene , and make readers escape from memory or wake up from dream .
Then collects and discusses appearance of Nian monsters . Now people don’t be afraid of ghost or monster , some are even to be fascinated with cute monsters that are huge with two-head , big-eye , fat-belly , round shape , etc . Strengthening inspirations of designing monster’s role .
Girl comic emphasize to describe characteristics of heart , applying soliloquy, emotional scene, multilevel mind and the change of reality plot to create illusional picture , re-annotating the legend of Nian monster , describing the concept that passing festival is equal to passing barrier in Chinese’s most important festival – Chinese new year , making people smoothly pass the period to another period through habit in the rites of passage .
The creation include 17 colorful serial comics in free size. Girl comic emphasize to describe characteristics of emotions and provide consonance with readers . The story of creation is that protagonist search Nian monster for saving his grandmother’s life, she meets and gets along with harmony in dream . I hope to make a recall of reader’s respect for Chinese new year and think about the meaning of festival .
