Besides government also promote UV printing to decrease VOCs .However using UV printing also have pollution problem. When printing plastic or low surface tension materials. The material need coating primer to increase the adhesion for ink. But the processing of coating will cause VOCs so when UV printing is more popular the pollution could be worse. This is why we need research to find out other can replace or better solution. Through the two kind of primer solvent and waterborne with different thickness 5g、10g、15g to find out the decrease using primer and also increase the surface tension factors. When after analysis the printing quality attributes and the physical properties hope can offer to the production, government, academia, research sector as a reference. In this study, according to the experiment result can discover the waterborne primer more thick will cause K、C、M、Y solid ink density and coating thickness have negative correlation. When solvent and water primer coating below 10g thick, color contrast and coating thickness have negative correlation. Dot area with waterborne or solvent primer and coating thickness no correlation. Using pair comparison method analysis color difference, solvent primer coating 15g thick with max color difference, waterborne primer coating thick 5g have smallest color difference. waterborne and solvent primer follow with primer coating more thick, color gamut range with positive correlation. When solvent and water primer coating below 10g thick can obviously increase dyne.
