school self-concept, creativity, motivation, especially for ninth grade student. The
main goal of this research is to design and analyze the experiments of creative drama
teaching, then making suggestions for junior high school teachers to plan such lessons.
We use Quasi-experiments to design the experiment. The experimental group includes
37 students and the control group includes 38. Moreover, we mad pretest and posttest
to realize the self concept, creativity, and motivation..
There are three major purposes in our research:
1. To understand the self-concept, creativity and performing arts motivation on
the junior high school students.
2. To understand the influence of creative drama teaching on junior high school
students’ self-concept, creativity and performing arts motivation.
3.To design a proper plan of creative drama teaching for junior high school
students.
We made conclusions as follows:
1.Self-concept: The students of experimental group did not reach an obvious
difference.
2.Creativity: The students of experimental group t reach an obvious difference.
3.Motivation: The students of experimental group did not reach an obvious
difference.
Finally, we hope that our research is helpful for teachers of junior high school to
plan lessons about creative drama teaching.
