However, it is the most poetic and inspiring masterpiece which is even called “Eroica Symphony”. The key point of this interpretation is to discuss the musical structure and conductors’ interpretations of symphony No.3. There are six chapters in the interpretation. The chapter one is the preface, including searching motivation, purpose, methods and processing steps. In the chapter two, we discuss Brahms’ life, the characteristics of his composures, the development of his symphonies, and how Beethoven’s symphonies affect Brahms. In the chapter three, we discuss what kind of interpretation Brahms wants from originality. In the chapter four, I analyze the form and the idea of symphony No.3. And in the chapter five, I discuss its conductors’ interpretation and playing skills through audio source. In the last chapter, I concludes the characteristics of symphony No.3 and what I have learned in NTUA. Lu, Shu-Ling 呂淑玲 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 114 zh-TW
