However, while the economy and technology evolve, the continuously raising demand of energy causes many impacts in the ecology environment, such as global warming. As the result, the issue of ecology environment protection and energy saving become the most concerned part for the entire planet. Due to the growth of energy costs, energy consumption and environmental impacts, energy efficiency in buildings become an important issue nowadays. Therefore, the purpose in this study is to provide an optimization model that can reduce the energy consumption while maintaining the indoor thermal comfort. In this study, we have proposed an optimization model based on a variety of practical situation. The system will use the relevant data detected through the environmental and personal sensor, or manually input by user, and then user will give the equipment condition and an expected PMV value to run the model. Finally, the model will provide the optimal set-point of temperature and relative humidity and the operating strategy of air conditioning, dehumidifier and humidifier. By arranging different combinations of these apparatus, we can achieve the reduction of energy consumption while maintaining a certain thermal comfort level.
