碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 建築系 === 100 === Until recent years, due to the change of society and domestic composition; the nursery school has been transformed from an traditional orphanage to a children protectory or a day care center. This study explores the Quality Function Deployment and Maslow's Need-hierarchy theory to comprehend the substantial requirement of a protectory, and for the purpose of probing into the ways to produce the important factors of creating an ideal protectory to the children, then to analysis the requirement to a typical design standard. The purpose of this study is to operate the project “Emile Children’s Garden” by using the design standard. This paper consulted the natural education as a design concept of protectory and used the atmosphere with natural green to build homelier center which is different than the general children protectory.
