Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 100 === This study mainly investigates the formability of AZ31 and AZ61 magnesium alloy clamping parts under hot extrusion process. The process parameters considered in this research include the type of material used, billet heating temperature, extrusion speed and extrusion ratios of 4.81. The study investigates how the extent of influence of different process parameters on extrusion and fabrication is correlated with the mechanical properties of finished products. The finite element software, DEFORM-3D, is employed to simulate the extrusion processes of parts of clamp. Through the simulation, stress、strain and temperature distribution of the extruded clamping part can be obtained. The process parameters considered in the simulation include the heating temperature of materials, extrusion speed and heating temperature of ingot container. And from the comparison of experimental and simulation results the optimal combination of process parameters can be found. To expect the results of this study can be a reference resource for related academic and industry research.
