Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 電機工程研究所在職專班 === 100 === This research emphasizes on the outcomes of the direct injection diesel engine’s utilization of premium diesel fuel in adjunction with oxyhydrogen gas (produced by oxyhydrogen machine) under the controlled conditions of general engine rotational speed rate at 1000 rpm (revolutions per minute), 1300 rpm, 1600 rpm, 1900 rpm, and 2200 rpm. These outcomes consist of: the smoke emission caused by fuel combustion, engine’s horsepower, torsion output, and fuel consumption rate. The experimental results show that, by adding a small quantity of oxyhydrogen, the smoke emission caused by fuel combustion could be reduced by an average of 25.7%. Fuel consumption rate of both high and low engine rotational speed could be reduced 3 ~ 8%. On the other hand, the overall effectiveness of horsepower, torsion output and brake mean effective pressure could be increased by an average of 3 ~7%. Therefore, the utilization of premium diesel in adjunction with oxyhydrogen is capable of saving energy, increasing engine horsepower and torsion output, and greatly reducing smoke density, thus achieving carbon reduction.
