Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 經營管理研究所在職專班 === 100 === Credit granting is one of the services offered by banks and overdue loan is a crucial indicator that reflects the quality of credit granting. There are strict rules regulating credit management in the bank. However, they are often impractical when applied in the actual execution. This results in the increase of NPL (Non-Performing Loans) ratio and leads to bad debt loss. Several banks in the country still maintain a low NPL ratio. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to understand bank credit granting in practice and determine the key influential factors of NPL and their impacts. The key factors will be summarized for further study. Further, this study investigates NPL ratio among bank groups and determines the differences of the perceived influential factors. The result serves a reference to banks on credit decision making in attempt to reduce SMB (small and medium business) NPL ratio as well as bank credit risk.
