Design goal is to find suitable for general performance requirements of the new locomotive system, the system expects to have the order of magnitude beyond the limits of economic benefits in the fuel system, and to seek orders of magnitude higher than the general system for the simple system configuration and the more simple mode of operation control and energy management strategies. The system simply by controlling the drive motor and the engine on and off and the centrifugal clutch centrifugal control, you can switch to achieve a variety of operating modes, and so can greatly simplify the system power control. Slow start, the engine shut down, but purely driven by the drive motor vehicle; High speed, the engine start, and the motor / generator in the motor or generator mode switch operation, which can be used with the car''s acceleration and deceleration to regulate the output of the engine torque, to replace most of the operation of the engine throttle in order to achieve maximum economic efficiency and effective in reducing the fuel exhaust pollution.
