And this system can encryption user data with security functions and extend additional service functions elastically. TETRA Digital Radio System has become the main MRT (Mass Rapid Transit System) digital wireless communication system in recent years. In this thesis, we describe the system architecture and communication protocol of TETRA Digital Radio System firstly, include digital modulation principle and voice encoding scheme. And then we discuss the function units of overall system, system function establishment planning, system communication traffic planning and key area digital radio signal coverage strength measurement of Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) employ TETRA Digital Radio System. In this thesis, based on Receive Signal Strength Indication (RSSI) of digital radio signal measurement at tunnels, station and machine factory use a simple measurement equipment OTE- PUMA T3 radio handset. Via this article measured results, we can verify that the digital radio signal coverage strength whether or not satisfy design specification of radio signal coverage strength TETRA Digital Radio System currently deployed in the Taipei Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) System. Finally, we can provides the users with valuable design guidelines and procedure for designing and establishment planning of evaluate the performance of the TETRA Digital Radio System in Taipei MRT. And on the basis of the RSSIs measurement and our maintenance experiences, proposals for performance improvement and fault prevention are suggested to order to enhance service quality of TETRA Digital Radio System.
