Based on the results of the study, the author tries to present the conclusions and suggestions to Chinese teachers and the other Chinese educational institutions as a reference for teaching application or improvement. In order to achieve the above aims, this study adopted the methods of literature review for relative data and research collection. Next a questionnaire “Strategies Inventory for Chinese Language Learning” was devised and employed as the research tool based on the analysis of literature and information of previous studies. The subjects of this study were 103 Chinese learners from three different Chinese teaching institutions in the northern area. In the end, 93 of the questionnaires were valid. The results of the investigation were processed and analyzed by descriptive statistical methods, including mean, standard deviation and t-test. The following conclusions were drawn from the results of the survey:(1)The frequency of the six aspects of the oral Chinese learning strategies for the Chinese learners is above the average.(2)There was no significant difference between the learning strategies used by the Chinese learners.(3)There only existed a significant difference in the emotional strategies adopted by the between learners of different genders.(4)In terms of cultural background, there only existed a significant difference in the emotional strategies used by the learners from different cultures.
