Description
Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊管理學研究所(含碩專班) === 100 === The purpose of this thesis is to explore the effect of elementary grade 3 environmental education in terms of the influence on students’environmental perception, attitudes, and behaviors. This thesis applies the experimental research method, based on quantitative analysis, assisted with qualitative data. Two elementary grade 3 classes in New Taipei City are selected as samples of this survey, which are divided into one experimental group and one control group. In quantitative study, a questionnaire of “A Survey of Environmental Knowledge, Attitudes and Behaviors on Elementary Grade Three Students” was used as a research tool. The research result shows that there is a significant difference on the promotion of environmental knowledge and attitudes of the experimental group students, and the performance of their post-test is better than that of the pre-test. The performance of environmental knowledge and attitude of experimental group are better than those of control group. There is no significant difference on the “Gender” variance regarding experimental group’s environmental perception, attitude and behaviors. On “the Participation in other environmental education activities”, a significant superiority was found in experimental group on students’perception, attitude, and behaviors. In qualitative method, the researcher analyzed students’environmental perception, attitudes, and learning effects and performance from other related learning such as reflection writing, worksheets, and picture books. The research findings indicate that the environmental education based field trip curriculum enhances the effects on students’environmental perception and attitudes. According to the result, several suggestions are proposed to educational authorities, elementary school administration and educators and also for further studies.
