Related applications is much to look forward to the public, in the home networking applications, covering computers, home appliances, consumer electronics products such as equipment, communication and control each other through short-range wireless communication connection, independent home electrical products, can be strung together through a computer home network system, and toward wisdom, system integration, it has become a research and development of embedded systems, important topics and can not be ignored, research units to trigger interest in this smart appliances.
In this paper the system is RoBoard the RB-100 Embedded Motherboard, As a platform with XP Embedded, and configure the IIS Web Server, combined with the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, ZigBee module to construct a wireless LAN, Users via the Internet access device through the Internet to connect to the production platform in this article, the user via the web can control the ZigBee module connected to the system, under instruction by this module sends the user to want a controlled home appliances, users can also ZigBee module is connected to the sensor to know the status of the home environment and security.
The system of planning and design concepts, Web remote control interface in the embedded system platform to achieve, without restriction of place, time limit, users only need to through any Internet access device, be able to immediately remote control the home appliances, so that the user operation of home appliances that can be arbitrary, to overcome the traditional single operation, but also let the computer is not just computers, but also units with a remote control simultaneously for home lighting、curtains、Anti-theft devices、TV、electricity fans、air conditioners, Water heater and other Electric remote control, Internet based applications into a user's home life, to meet the demand for smart home control, to achieve the purpose of home life wisdom and facilitation.
