Description
Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電機工程系 === 100 === Due to the natural disasters over the world, the issue of the environmental protection and carbon reduction has gained the highlight once more. The electric motor will replace the oil engine in the vehicles. However, there are some shortcomings of electric vehicles to be overcome, such as travel distance limit, low efficiency, low acceleration and climbing ability. As a result, the development of electric vehicles in the future will include drive system performance, battery performance and energy efficiency, mechanisms reduction. This thesis presents the design and implementation of a high security, high energy efficiency drive system and cruise control system for electric vehicles. With Power MOSFET control, the brushless DC motor changeovers the variable winding structure between Wye and Delta winding connections to provide the electric vehicle power requirements of high torque at low speed and high-speed range. Based on the motor characteristic curves, the optimal changeover point is found. If the cruise control system works during the riding process, it will automatically tune duty size to achieve the set speed value based on road conditions, without controlling the throttle by hand. Finally, the proposed drive is integrated into a commercial electric vehicle to verify the performance of related technologies.
