The study participants were 157 students, including 64 foreign students, who took EMI courses at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology during the second semester of 2012. The collected data were quantitatively analyzed with descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-tests, and Pearson Correlation using SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Eight volunteer interviewees also participated in the investigation, and the interview data were qualitatively analyzed. The major findings were as follows: 1. More than 75% EMI students agreed that those courses are helpful for them (M = 452). 2. To interact with students of different nationalities can motivate participants to become involved in the full-English course. 3. The major difficulty that students encounter in the full-English course is their low English proficiency level. 4. The teachers’ English proficiency and teaching methods affected student learning achievement. 5. The differences in learning motivation, learning anxiety, and learning achievement between local and foreign students were significant. 6.
