However, the use of RFID technology for indoor positioning is a relatively new one. In terms of using RFID technology, LANDMARC is the earliest work and also the most popular one being referred. It was based upon the returned signal strength(RSS) from reference tags on given locations to estimate the position of an unknown tag, so it does not require expensive equipment. But the indoor environment is more complex than the outdoors’s, the weakened signal strength due to obstacles blocking may decrease the positioning accuracy. In this thesis, we proposes a three-dimensional reference tags method, and two group-based virtual reference tag position algorithm, average and weighted, to increase the positioning accuracy and reduce the average error of positioning, and also to achieve three-dimensional space positioning. According those basic algorithms, the research proposes positioning methods for multi-zone, multi-tag and multi-reader scenarios. Through intensive experiments and measurement, the thesis has proved that the proposed methods improved the positioning accuracy in all aspects. Kai-Wei Ke 柯開維 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 88 zh-TW
