Recently, a technique which combines space-time coding and spatial modulation provides more spatial diversity by choosing different sets of transmit antennas. In this thesis, we proposed a new space-time coded spatial modulation technique by combining the rate-compatible punctured convolutional codes and the transmission matrix of the space-time coded spatial modulation.
