Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 教育政策與領導研究所碩士在職專班 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and organization commitment of the public kindergartens in New Taipei City.Questionnaires assessing job satisfaction and organizational commitment were completed by 696 teachers from 159 public kindergartens in New Taipei City, and 529 effective questionnaires were collected.With SPSS for windows regard to the data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, multiplestepwise regression analysis were used. According to the findings of the study, conclusions are syntheized as follow: 1.Public kindergartens’ teachers perceived a medium-high level of job satisfaction and organization commitmentin in New Taipei City. 2.There were significant differences in job satisfaction based on marital status and years of service. (1) Marital status, unmarried teachers'' job satisfaction higher than married teachers. (2) Years of service, under five (inclusive) years old and over 21 (inclusive)years old , their perception on job satisfaction was higher than 11 to 15(inclusive)years old teachers. 3.There were significant differences in organization commitment based on education level,years of service, and position . (1)Educational level, the diploma of specialist teachers '' organizational commitment is higher than the master for teachers. (2)Years of service, over 21 (inclusive)years old kindergarten teachers'' perception on organization commitment is higher than teachers 6 to 10(inclusive)years old and 11 to15(inclusive) years old teachers. (3) Positions, director of the kindergarten teachers'' organizational commitment is higher than teachers. 4.Teacher’s job satisfaction was positively relation to organizational commitment. 5.Teacher’s job satisfaction was a strong predictor of organizational commitment. Finally, suggestions based on the above research findings were presented for educational administration authorities, school administration managers, and the further advanced studies.
