| Summary: | 碩士 === 稻江科技暨管理學院 === 休閒遊憩與旅運管理學系碩士班 === 100 === The purpose of this study is to understand the relationships among job stress, leisure participation and health condition of teachers at public kindergartens. Public kindergarten teachers in Chiayi City and Chiayi County were recruited. Three scales, for measuring leisure participation, job pressure and health condition, were adopted in this study. There were 209 questionnaires, 160 surveys returned and 158 valid for data analysis.
Public kindergarten teachers in Chiayi City and Chiayi County have medium level of job stress and leisure participation. Nevertheless, their health conditions are above the average. Regarding job stress, there is a significant difference among different ages, marital status, seniority and school types. In terms of leisure participation, the significant difference lies among different ages, marital status, seniority, positions and school locations. In addition, there is also a significant difference among different ages, marital status, seniority and school types with respect to health condition. It is also discovered that there is a negative correlation between leisure participation and job stress, a positive correlation between leisure participation and health condition and a negative correlation between job stress and health condition. Moreover, both job stress and leisure participation are significant predictors of health condition. Based on the findings, this study provided several suggestions for the authorities concerned, the teachers at public kindergartens in Chiayi City and County and the future research.
