The airport not only provides the infrastructure of the aircraft taking off and landing, but also has been for the economic activity of the new core. The main entrance door for Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, but the flight of industry, international oil prices and negative press coverage of the Taoyuan International Airport facilities factors, has been facing difficulties. Taoyuan International Airport in the enterprise of the new pattern, the cross-strait direct flights now and global economic recovery, but could not see the growth of passenger and freight traffic. Response to environmental changes, set competitive strategies for the airport management is imperative.
In this study, the strategic management of the takes concepts, the current situation in Taiwan and abroad International Airport, competitive strategy and other related documents as the basis, set out four competitive strategy and the 20 assessment criteria for the hierarchical structure. And to analyze and sort through the questionnaire of the terminal, academics and other experts to resolve the competitive strategy of the assessment criteria of the weight, and explore the future of Taoyuan International Airport, give the best competitive strategy for the reference of the airport manager.
