Description
Summary:碩士 === 吳鳳科技大學 === 光機電暨材料研究所 === 100 === The titanium substrate was first electro-polished to remove the oxide and obtain an ideal flat Surface. Then, (Zn(NO3)2) and HMTA as precursors were used to deposit nanorods on top of the Ti substrate. The high quality ZnO nanorods on top of Ti can function as photo-catalyst for biomedical anti-bacteria applications. To examine the polishing and growth conditions, atomic force microscope (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were used to measure the surface roughness, crystalline structure, and film morphology. Well-crystallized nanorods could be grown on top of Ti susbtrate with a suitable polishing voltage and sufficient growth time. The roughness of the Ti surface decreased as the polishing voltage increased from 6 V to 12 V. When the polishing voltage further increased to 14V, the over-polishing occurredand the surface became rougher again. After the Ti substrate was properly polished, the nanorods were grown on top of the Ti substrate by hydrothermal method for various time. The XRD analysis shown the diffraction peaks (100), (002), and (101) became stronger with the increase of the deposition time. The highest XRD peak can be seen in (002) orientation. After nanorods were deposited for 90 minutes, compact, well-crystallized ZnO nanorods could be observed in the SEM image.
