In manufacture industry, it focused on petrifaction, textile and iron steel in the past. Nowadays, it focuses on semi-conductor, electronic, information technology and communication technology. Besides the transition of industrial construction which was caused by economic development, the quick change of competed environment worldwide caused great impact on traditional manufacture in Taiwan. Actually, it is the main tendency on decreasing in traditional manufacture and increasing in technology industry. Also, the tendency is the process in every country. These changes bring out more business changelings and crisis toward traditional manufacture in Taiwan. However, it is the driver to force corporate transformation and update. Thus, when publics focus on high technology, these traditional manufactures which is low competitive chose either move their facility to south-east Asia or China or take turnaround as strategy for lasting its sustainability. It is the main issue to improve the competitive of traditional manufacture from understanding the competitive situation, construction, the position in national economy, turnaround strategy, and problems of strategy for improving competitive in traditional manufacture. In transition, corporate must take different turnaround strategy and organization transformation in different phase or entry different industry. Under developed high technology, it is the important issue on management for traditional manufacture to exploit its core technology to transit successfully from original core business. This research takes machinery manufacture of sheet metal as example. In case, the researcher analyzes the practical choice of turnaround strategy, competitive advantage strategy, organization transformation in machinery processing. It is valuable experience for us to learn in successful updating and transition in traditional chemical industry. Moreover, it probes into the problem which occurs when traditional manufacture improves its competitive, and then proposes some suggestions to improve industry revising.
