Especially for Taiwanese corporations, they set up Operation center in Taiwan to control different areas through group center idea in order to enhance center competitiveness of connecting global resources. Nowadays procurement management plays a key role in whole enterprise activities. From traditional management methods like JIT &; supply chain management to new partner cooperation way, relationship between supplier &; customer has been transformed. This change can make both gain physical advantages and good affection for business. New competition is not just company versus company but become war of two supply chains. So how to make a best supply chain becomes a key issue of procurement management to face global competition. Good procurement management can reduce cost, increase profit, and lower stock risks that company can enhance competitiveness through this advantages and gain market as goals. The case study bases on one Cooper Clad Lamination supplier who ranks No.6 in the world and has 5 plants in China as example. We hope to use case analysis to explore four tasks of procurement center: Group system integration、Stock management、price negotiation ability、and supply chain management. We also would like to discuss management response, MIS, raw material stock, and cost control to resolve management difficulties and then make an appropriate strategy for this supplier.
