Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 100 === Because the number of elders in Taiwan has increased and the family structure has changed with fast pace, public welfare organizations have been urged to established one after another. And also owing to the shortage of human power and refusing to do the so called “three K– hardness, dirtiness, and danger” work, the government cannot help but import foreign laborers to solve the short-term human power shortage problems. While the substitute roles of the foreign laborers have gradually become the replacement roles, consequently, new social problems have been increasing spontaneously. There hasn’t been any research which can be found so far based on interviewing those foreign laborers, so this is the original reason which the reseacher has tried to find out if there are any particular causes that a survey cannot reach the reality of this issue. Because of this reason, this research adopted the interrogation method. The researcher, a current employee in a nursing center, not only interviewed the foreign staffs who work in the same center with questionnaires, but also collected the information based on the daily observations of the foreign staffs’ behavior to do crossing analyses. As for the selection of the interviewees, based on all the staffs in the center without any nationality distinction consideration, there were three ineffective ones. Among the effective ones, there were six Indonesians and one Vietnamese. Except for two of these effective ones, the others have had work experience outside of their countries. The main objective of this thesis was built on “The Time and Personal Viewpoints” to explore where the pressure comes from for foreign laborers – before departing for, arriving in Taiwan, or starting to work in the center, and how they released their pressure. Plus, the researcher herself was also trying to connect and integrate all these data with her personal observations over years. Besides, according to the intentions and results from this particular research, the researcher used “Time and U Shape Theory” to sort out the honey-moon period and disillusion period. Furthermore, the researcher even studied deeply and discussed with others on the following three big issues – the economical and psychological pressure before the foreign laborers’ departure, the short-term honey-moon period, and the impact on their health due to the disillusion resulting from their coworkers and peers. Finally, the researcher would give solid suggestion to the government about the policy on how to manage the organizations and agencies of importing foreign labors.
