By using the qualitative research, this study takes seven in-service nursing personnel with branch hospitals under Taipei City Hospital for infectious diseases including two in the infectious ward, three in the intensive care unit and two in the medical and surgical ward as study objects. Results of this study show that 一、Nursing personnel are lacking the knowledge related to cognitive parts of infectious diseases, such as routes of infection and protective measures. 二、Their daily nursing workload is heavy. 三、They fear that they cannot acquire fair compensation after infection. 四、Their pressure feelings during treating patients with infectious diseases. (一) From hospital: The in-service education of infectious diseases is arranged at poor period, and nursing human resources are in shortage, and nursing personnel takes a vocation for fewer days. (二)Feelings of working pressure from the infectious disease it self and family members of patients. (三)Personnel questions are mostly concerning economic pressures, concerns of worry from family members and thinking about leaving office. 五、Feeling of work pressure influences mind and body: The shift life causes poor sleep quality and physical discomfort from illness recurrence 六、Coping method of pressure feelings: mostly, cultivating religious faith, optimistic to face future for self-adjustment, and deciding to transfer to another career or post after career planning. 林玥岑 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 64 zh-TW
