Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 化學工程與材料科學學系 === 100 === In this study, four pyridine-polybenzimidazoles (Py-PBIs) were synthesized by the condensation from tetra amine monomer 3,3',4,4'-tetraminobiphenyl (DAB) with dicarboxylic acid monomers isophthalic acid (IPA) and 2,6-pyridinedicarboxlic acid (PyA). These four Py-PBIs were mixed with Pt-C (Pt on carbon support), N’N’-dimethyl acetamide (DMAc), and LiCl to prepare catalyst ink solutions and fabricate polybenzimidazole (PBI) membrane electrode assembly (MEA). We found the electrode prepared from Py-PBI-64 (PyA/IPA = 6/4)/Pt-C/DMAc/LiCl solution and [Py-PBI]/[Py-PBI+Pt-C] = 5 wt.% had a higher Pt surface activity area.
