Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 社會暨政策科學學系 === 100 === The goals of this study are to understand the operation and the efficacy of the school innovation management in an elementary school in TaoYuan County in Taiwan, as well as to investigate the operational strategies, the problems encountered, and the solutions. The applications of this study can serve as references for schools who conduct innovation management and for educational authorities developing related policies. In addition to conducting the literature review, the researcher of this study designed a semi-structured interview of school innovation management. The content of the interview incorporates five aspects including source of school innovation, current status of innovation management and the efficacy, strategies of implementation, the difficulties encountered, and related supporting measures. Generalizing the response from the teachers and the principal, conclusions are drawn as below: 1.The origin of the school innovation management is related to the school principal’s beliefs. 2.Creating visions of organizational learning promotes school personnel learn together. 3.School innovation management is a dynamic operation resulting from the interaction between the inner and outer environment of the school. 4.Adjusting organizational structures leads to promotion of school innovation. 5.The main difficulty in the process of school innovation management is the conservative attitude of school personnel. 6.Communication and coordination resolve difficulties in promoting school innovation management. 7.As a significant supporting measure, educational authorities and schools should provide opportunities for teachers to demonstrate their innovation results. The above conclusions serve as references for educational authorities, principals of elementary schools, and the related personnel who conduct future research in the domain of school innovation management.
