Description
Summary:碩士 === 清雲科技大學 === 國際企業管理研究所 === 101 === Abstract The formation of alliances between enterprises has become widely popular, nonetheless with a considerably high failure rate in alliance. Therefore, selecting the right alliance partner, mutual trust between partners and the proper formulation of contract, are all key factors contributing to a successful alliance. The study conducted a research on the case study of Taiwan mechanical and electric industry with the construction industry. The study results showed that the standards for selecting partners and the degree of mutual trusts will affect the cooperation pattern. A high degree of trust will lead to the joint contracting through Joint Venture (JV) in order to maximize the value. A lower degree of trust will lead to joint contracting through association to make a clean break between responsibilities. In other words, the degree of trust will affect the content of contract.
