Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 101 === Medical institutions have long been units of specialization. Research on medical staff scheduling focused mainly on fairness of workload, successive working days, and/or the interval between shifts. Frequent shift changes are unavoidable. Therefore, taking the staff an emergency room as example, this study proposes to use two common objective functions: Mean Absolute Deviation, and MinMax to minimize the frequency of shift change by a linear program with different human resource constrains. The results show that both models can reduce the frequency of shift change. Specifically, the MinMax model obtained more appealing scheduling table with more evened number of shift change than the MAD model does.
