Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理學系碩士班 === 101 === ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to examine the relations among the students’ behavior of Facebook Using, Life Adjustment and Parent-child relationship. Questionnaires were used as research method. The subjects were 656 junior high school students sampled from 4 schools located in Linkou Section, New Taipei City. The instruments for this study include the Facebook Using Behavior Questionnaire, Life Adjustment Scale and Parent-child relationship Scale. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Chi-Square Test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson Product-moment Correlation, Mutiple Regression Analysis.The main findings were as follows: The percentage of using Facebookin junior high school students is higher than 93%. Most junior high school students had connected to the Facebook for more than 2 years. They used the Facebook once or twice times per week and spent less than two hours at one week.The most popular place to use Facebook was home, and the most popular motive for Facebook-using was keeping in touch with friends. The most interaction with parents on Facebook was see their massage. The behavior of Facebook using has significant difference with the difference of the gender、grade and educational level of parents. The life adjustment and the parent-child relationship has significant difference with the difference of the behavior of Facebook using. The better parent-child relationship the elementary school students had, the better life adjustment they would have. It is necessary for junior high school students to re-examine their priorities, spend more time on schoolwork, with family and friends, parents can increase the opportunities of interacting with their children through the use of Facebook. Otherwise, teachers should give appropriate guidelines to students in different grades or needs.
