We survey 300 employees of cosmetic division in department store in Xinyi District, Taipei, and get 294 effective samples. Effective response rate is 98%. Here, we use frequency table, mean value, and standard deviation to show the distribution of feature groups. Also, we use t-test, one way ANOVA, pearson correlation, and so on, to analysis the relationship between all the dimensions. We show the important results in the following: 1. The job stress is moderate for employees of cosmetic division in department store in Xinyi District, Taipei. The four source of job stress in order from high to low is "professional ability", "job role", "career development", and “professional job ability". 2. For employees of cosmetic division in department store in Xinyi District, Taipei, their coping strategies when facing the job stress in sequence is "professional advice", "looking for support", "rational thinking", "putting off", "problem handling". 3. Samples in different feature groups which classified by different background variables, has a significant difference on job stress between different variable values in the following: "job position", "seniority", "educational background", "number of cosmetic clerks in the same layer", "salary". On the other hand, "job position", "seniority", "educational background", "number of cosmetic clerks in the same layer", has a significant effect on coping strategies. 4. For employees of cosmetic division in department store in Xinyi district, Taipei, their job stress and coping strategies has a positive correlation.
