Compared to the general population, the rate of using computers and Internet among the disabled people is very low. The purpose of the study is using secondary dataset analysis to investigate the factors that associate the disables’ usage of computer and Internet. The survey of disable people in the 2012 Digital Divide was used to explore the associated factors. This survey is conducted by the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission (RDEC), Executive Yuan. The Descriptive Statistics, Chi-Square Test and Logistic Regression are adopted to analyze relationships between the demographic variables and usage of computer and Internet. The results have shown that groups of male, younger, high education level, employment, living in northern section, mild autism and mental retardation were more likely to be associated with ever used computer. Among those disables who ever operated computer, the groups of male, younger, high education level, employment, living in northern section had higher possibility had ever surfed on the internet. Government and policy makers can try more communication media, provide free computer training courses, and lead the development of assistive technologies.
