The infecting prevalence for diabetic foot patients is about 12-25% in their lifetime. The chronic diabetic foot ulcers for patients has become a problem that can not be ignored. Objectives: The study aimed to export the topics about percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) and stent placement can improve chronic foot ulcers and healing time of foot ulcers . Method: The Study was completed with retrospective medical record and investigatived from January 15, 2013 to April 15.The objects of study are from the department of Cardiac Surgery in Metropolitan Hospital in Taichung.A total of 26 patients was divided into two groups: successful group and failure group. Results:The results about healing time of foot ulcer were that success group was 41.28 ± 29.956 days, and failure group was 186.88 ± 109.999 days. The "healing time" to success group and failure group have shown significant in difference and correlation analysis . Our study period can provide clinicians a reference tool for the purposes of PTA surgery subsequently. Chen, Yung-Fu 陳永福 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 53 zh-TW
