An Investigate of Willingness in Using Telecare System, for General Citizen

碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 醫療暨健康產業管理系碩士班 === 101 === Motivation: the changes of population structure, lifestyle and disease patterns forced the rapid development of UTAUT. Telecare system takes a part of it. Thus, to explore populaces’ willing and influential factors of using this system has become an urgent and important issue. Purpose: Understanding the populace’s knowledge about telecare and exploring their acceptance of using it.Method: the survey aimed on populaces, who use telecare system to measure their physical condition and serve in 10targeted communities, in which Community medicine center conducting a program that combine community service with telecare system. The collected statistics was analyzed via SPSS, and then explained the results. Results: the survey was given out from January 2013 to April 2013. 300 questionnaires were sent out, and 264 valid ones were retired, totally 88% effective rate of recovery. 85% of participants were in ages over 65; 78 % of them were suffering from chronic diseases; 9.4 of them exam their physical condition every day; 17% identified they can operate telecare system themselves, as long as they have trained. The results showed, the elder had great difficulty of using telecare system. The populaces could not record their physical condition accurately, although most of them were suffering from chronic disease. Therefore, to widespread telecare system, it should be started from health education, as well as teaching populace the notions of health management. Moreover, simplify the system for elder or advocate the youth helping elder. Conclusion: the study showed the populaces’ willing and influential factors of using telecare system and offered useful information to organizers in establishing health policies and advocators in related industries, so as to establish related policies or develop better telecare for populaces.
