Summary:碩士 === 中臺科技大學 === 文教事業經營研究所 === 101 === The aim of this study is to understand the relation between the social support and the well-being of the female teachers with administrative duties in Junior High School. The questionnaire survey is used to investigate the research questions of the study. A total of 226 participants were selected randomly through stratified samplings from Junior High School in Taichung City. The data gathered from the questionnaire survey was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The major findings of this study were summarized as followings: 1. The social support of the female teachers with administrative duties for junior high school in Taichung City is above the average, particularly in the category of “out-school emotional support”. 2. The well-being of the female teachers with administrative duties for junior high school in Taichung City reaches the middle-upper, particularly in the category of “family relations”. 3. The social support for the female teachers with administrative duties in junior high school in Taichung City are varied by different age, academic degree, the length of administrative experience and position. 4. The well-being of the female teachers with administrative duties for Junior High School in Taichung City are varied by different age, martial status, numbers of children, academic degree, the length of administrative experience, the scale of the school and school location. 5. The relation between the social support and the well-being of the female teachers with administrative duties in Junior High School is evident. 6. The social support can effectively predict the well-being of the female teachers with administrative duties in Junior High School, particularly in the category of “out-school emotional support”. Finally, the suggestions of the results were made for teachers, schools, education authorities, and future researchers.
