Summary:碩士 === 建國科技大學 === 機械工程系暨製造科技研究所 === 101 === The main purpose of the present study is to design and develop a torque measurement equipment for wind turbine. Combined with wind tunnel system and multi-functional measured platform, the torque measurement is performed for the vertical axis Savonius type wind turbine blades and horizontal axis wind turbine blades. The experimental results show that the wind speed, the rotating velocity and torque are measured exactly for two types of wind turbine blades. Then, the generated power and power coefficient of wind turbine can be evaluated from the experimental data. For the case of horizontal axis wind turbine, the experimental results show that the generated power and power coefficient are increased with the tip speed ratio under the wind speed range of 5m/s-8m/s. As the wind speed is 5m/s and tip speed ratio is 6, the maximum power coefficient is 0.21. For the case of vertical axis Savonius wind turbine, the torque coefficient is decreased with the tip speed ratio under the wind speed of 7 m/s. When the overlap of blade is 0.2 and the tip speed ratio is 1.2, the maximum power coefficient is 0.23.
