Because of greatly advances in computer graphics technology, the way of design thinking is different from the past. Students emphasize completely subjective consciousness, and perform the strong of independent and personalized design concept. The shape is too over emphasized in design process, that makes the design outcome has poor discussion in touching the core problem. This study focused on the communication processes and communication tools for interior design. The aim of this research is to find the tools for communicate design project. Firstly, Communication tools are defined by literature review. Secondly, this study attempts to find the best and clearly ideas of design communicate process by investigating the junior and teacher of the design department. Thirdly, this study used AHP questionnaire to find the process of significance, weight and sequence. After analyzed the weights, the conclusions are made as below: The phases of interior design are concept design, design develop and project proposal. The top five tools used in concept design phase are Sketch, Concept diagram, Plan, Case study, Bubble diagram, and the top six tools used in design develop phase are Sketch, Model, Plan, Concept diagram, Case study, Bubble diagram, and the top nine tools used in project proposal phase are Model, Perspective, Plan, Elevation, Site analysis, Concept diagram, Sketch, Case study, Bubble diagram.
