This study proposes the Thin Client structure in the service of cloud computing. In accordance with the company’s situation, the study suggests to employ Terminal Service in Microsoft Window Server 2008. It uses the company’s current equipment to accomplish structure transfer with minimal variation as well as solve the company’s problems. Nevertheless, the company considered whether the changes on operating system might be troublesome to elder employees or affect their job performance. The most important thing is that the company was doubtful whether Thin Client can satisfy its current and future occupational needs. This study utilizes Technology Acceptance Model, Diffusion of Innovations Theory and combines them with the computer self-efficacy. Then, from users’ perspective, the study builds up a model ant try to realize if Thin Client can achieve occupational need and win users’ acceptance. Questionnaires were distributed to the company’s employees in Taoyuan County, and 230 of them retrieved are valid. Using regression analysis, we find that the outcomes all support the research hypotheses, which means the model built in this study has good predictive and reasoning capabilities. The last research result shows that users are more concerned if Thin Client can satisfy their current and future professional needs. However, Thin Client fully satisfies users’ expectation. As for learning operation, the results also indicate that age isn’t the leading factor which influences users on learning operating system.
