Description
Summary:碩士 === 台灣首府大學 === 休閒管理學系碩士班 === 101 === The objective of this thesis was to pursue leisure needs, leisure constraints, and leisure participation among students in the pragmatic-skill program of vocational senior high schools in Tainan City. Key components in terms of gender, grade, type of school, parents' marital status, monthly allowance, weekly participation, and part-time job have been analyzed to verify what they may contribute on leisure needs, leisure constraints, and leisure participation. The target population is confined to programmatic skill students of vocational senior high schools in Tainan City. Questionnaires were designed and survey was performed. There were 503 copies have been collected and the effective copies were 463. Descriptive statistics, t test, and Pearson product moment correlation were implemented for data analysis. The main findings of this study can be summarized as followings: 1. The pragmatic skill programs students of vocational senior high schools in Tainan City have medium and upper perception on leisure demand, lower and medium perception on leisure constraint, and medium perception on leisure participation. 2. In term of leisure demand, gender was verified that male is higher than female. Female is higher than male in leisure constraint but in leisure participation, it indicates no significant difference. 3. Leisure participation indicates that the nine-grade students stronger than those of eight-grade ones. However, all three different grade students have no significant differences in terms of leisure demand and leisure constraint. 4. Public schools have shown stronger leisure participation than private ones. There are no significant differences on leisure demand and leisure constraint, both public and private schools. 5. Marital status of students’ parent has shown no significant differences in all three aspects. In pursuing achievement in leisure demand, students with single parent showed higher than that of students with separate parent. 6. Students with monthly allowance more than NT$1000 showed higher leisure demand than that with monthly allowance less than NT$500. Students with monthly allowance more than NT$500 had higher intension on leisure participation than those with monthly allowance less than NT$500. But in term of leisure constraint, different monthly allowances contributed almost the same. 7. In terms of weekly participation, those spent 9 to 12 hours showed higher leisure demand than that of less than 2 hours. Both those spent 6 to 8 hours and 9 to 12 hours showed higher intension on leisure participation. However, in term of leisure constraint, weekly participations showed no differences regardless of how long they spent. 8. Part-time jobs showed significant difference than no part-time jobs at all. Students with part-time jobs showed higher leisure demand. Students with part-time jobs on daily basis or irregular time sequence showed higher intention in leisure participation. In term of leisure constraint, there were no significant differences regardless of taking part-time jobs or not. Leisure demand and leisure participation among students in the pragmatic-skill program of vocational senior high schools showed positive low correlation. There was no correlation between leisure demand and leisure constraint. Leisure demand and personal constraint indicated negative low correlation. No correlation had been found between leisure participation and leisure constraint. However, leisure participation and personal constraint showed very low negative correlation.
