Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 工業工程與科技管理學系 === 101 === The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between family atmosphere and life adjustments among the new immigrants’ children. The survey data were collected from 420 new immigrants’ children in public schools of Changhua County. The descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, t-test,Pearson’s product-moment correlation, regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The findings were as the followings: 1. The whole of family atmosphere among the New Immigrants’ children was above the average. Family communication and concern was at the top level while family economy and support was at the bottom one. 2. The whole of life adjustments among the New Immigrants’ children was above the average. Interpersonal adjustment was at the best level while family adjustment was at the worst one. 3. There were significant differences in family atmosphere among the New Immigrants’ children with different background variables, such as Mother’s nationality , and economic circumstances. 4. There were significant differences in life adjustments among the New Immigrants’ children with different background variables, such as gender, and economic circumstances. 5. Each aspect of family atmosphere among the New Immigrants’ children was related significantly to each aspect of their life adjustments. 6. The whole of family atmosphere among the New Immigrants’ children was related significantly to the whole of their life adjustments. 7. Each aspect of life adjustments among the New Immigrants’ children was predicted significantly by family atmosphere.
