Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 運動事業管理學系 === 101 === The purposes of this study are to understand the current status of job stress of elementary school teachers and their coping strategies, and to explore the differences in and relationship between job stress and leisure needs among elementary school teachers of different backgrounds. The research findings can serve as references by elementary school teachers to effectively cope with a variety of job stress. A questionnaire survey was conducted, The validity of the questionnaire was obtained by using exploratory factor analysis. The formal questionnaire was used to investigate elementary school teachers in Nan Tao County. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed, and 297 were retrieved. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. Practical implications and suggestions for future research were proposed based on the current research findings. Results showed teachers perceived job pressure is moderate , a "job ethic" is the highest pressure and from "student behavior" is the lowest pressure. The level of demand for leisure activities are moderate, That in terms of the differences in needs among elementary school teachers of different backgrounds, Different age and years of teaching elementary school teachers "job ethic" feelings extent differences exist in demand for leisure activities. Teachers' feelings of work pressure level demand for leisure activities have a positive effect on results.
