Description
Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 工學院碩士在職專班 === 101 === In this study, a questionnaire was conducted on Pitou Junior High school students in Changhua County to survey their cognition and behaviors about energy saving and carbon reduction and analyze the difference between variation of students’ personal backgrounds and their cognition and behaviors about energy saving and carbon reduction. In the study, 299 questionnaires were issued, and 279 were effective questionnaires. The effective response rate is 93.3%. The data from the questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS (18.0), and the results are summed up as follows: The scores of students’ cognition and behaviors about energy saving and carbon reduction are positive and active; For the students’ genders, there is no significant difference in their cognition, but on their behaviors about energy saving and carbon reduction; For the students’ grades, there is significant difference in their cognition, but not on their behaviors about energy saving and carbon reduction; For the learning of the students’ parents, there are both significant differences in their cognition and behaviors about energy saving and carbon reduction; For the differences between the students’ favorite subjects, there is significant difference in their cognition, but not on their behaviors about energy saving and reduce carbon. Based on the results of the study, the researcher makes recommendation and suggestions to the government, schools and other researchers: Schools should implement environmental education in life; government's carbon reduction advocacy can take advantage of TV, internet and newspapers; related researchers can expand the scope of the study and qualitative research.
