碩士 === 大葉大學 === 設計暨藝術學院碩士在職專班 === 101 === The research paper is mainly about the local industries in Hsien-His township. Through the paintings, it reveals how the villagers cope with the challenges in lives. And how they transform themselves from the hardship of changing industrial environments. By pointing out the characteristics of local industries and comparing to the history, the painter illustrates the changes and also hints the reviewers to read between the lines. The paintings are all inspired by the painter’s life experience and observations – from her childhood, growing up and schooling years, and on. Especially by painting the memories of her childhood and the old gone village, she wants to share what’s important to and cherished by her. There are a total of 26 paintings in this paper and are divided into 3 sections.;(1) Memories of Fishing Village: The daily lives of fishers and the change of fishing industry.;（2) Memories of countryside: the scenes of countryside and vanishing industries; (3) Inspiration: Randomly picked still subjects that inspire the painter Going through the experience of creation and research makes the researcher recognize Hsien-Hsi’s local customs and practices and the features of its culture. As a result, the researcher realizes how lovely her hometown is. Hence, she loves the land even more. We are looking forward to evoking the sense of adoring the homeland through the
